Man steals Nyathi beer worth US$6000

James Karuma, 29, has been charged with theft by magistrate Apollonia Marutya after he was given beer worth more than US$6 000 to sell on behalf of Buffalo Brewing Company.

The State, through prosecutor, Thomas Chanakira alleges that Karuma was given Nyathi beer to sell on behalf of of the company.

The court heard that Karuma sold the beer and converted US$6 615. 20 to his own use without the consent of the company.

He was granted a US$100 bail and will appear in court on August 6, 2024, for trial.
