A Hatcliffe man, Tafadzwa Chinyani has been has been remanded in custody for stealing a trolley full of beer and other beverages.
The accused was charged with theft when he appeared at the Harare Magistrates' Courts.
On June 9, 2024, the complainant, Letwin Chisa reportedly left her trolley filled with assorted drinks including three crates of beer at Hatcliffe Shops.
On June 10, 2024, at around 1700 hours, the complainant came back and discovered that the trolley was missing.
She made a police report and investigations led to Chinyani's arrest and recovery of the trolley.
