Emergination Africa is excited has announced the commencement of the provincial selection for the 2024 National Business Case Competitions, which will take place from September 12 to September 20, 2024.
According to Emergination Africa, this phase marks a significant step in identifying the top entrepreneurial ideas from schools across Zimbabwe’s ten provinces.
The competition will focus on three critical sectors: agricultural business, services, and environment and climate.
With submissions already received from schools nationwide, the provincial competitions aim to highlight innovative solutions addressing local challenges.
Emergination Africa stated, “Participants are tasked with developing viable business solutions, each supported by a prototype aligned with Zimbabwe's National Development Strategy 1.”
Emergination Africa’s National Business Case Competitions challenge students to develop businesses that address key thematic areas, including waste management innovations and enhanced access to banking and IT services.
"Provincial competitions will assess entries based on innovation, feasibility, sustainability, business model clarity, and community impact," the organisation added.
