258 hotel set for grand opening, sets sight on upmarket clientele

A new flamboyant and strata of luxury hotel has risen at the edge of Harare on Hebert Chitepo street, setting its sight on challenging the standards of luxury and comfort in the hospitality sector. With its extravagant services and amenities, it offers a blend of local and cultural experiences for travelers from around the world.

Having opened its doors on September 9, the grand opening has been scheduled for this coming Tuesday where various experts and officials from the tourism industry will have an appreciation of the establishment.

Described by many as the pinnacle of luxury, it boasts of 16 rooms, each tailored to different tastes. These include Classic/Standard rooms at US$120, Garden suites US$150, Garden suites with twin beds US$180 bed and breakfast for two, Msasa executive suites goes for US$350 and the Baobab executive suites that  goes for US$450 per night.

 

Speaking to members of the media during a tour of the establishment, Hotel manager, Similo Mzizi, reiterated the importance of appealing to upmarket and corporate clientele, offering a sanctuary of comfort and elegance as the core focus of the hotel. 

She notes that the distinguished ambiance reflects the will to compliment government policies on tourism especially considering that September is the Tourism month.

“Each of the 258 hotel’s 16 rooms complements the distinguished ambiance of modern furnishings with an elegant twist,” she said while giving in to the wave of air breezing through the surroundings, adding that the hotel caters for all customer needs complemented by its sister establishment, Chop Chop restaurant that offers the ultimate food and entertainment experience for travelers and those looking to have their feel on exquisite meals.
