From midday to 7:00 PM, the Basilica reverberated with soul-stirring melodies, spontaneous praise sessions, and powerful moments of prayer. Attendees, some moved to tears, described the atmosphere as “electrifying yet deeply sacred.”
Revellers expressed deep spiritual meanings drawn from the worship concert, with one, Rufaro Mafuse noting, “I’ve never experienced worship like this before. The presence of God was so strong, I found myself on my knees without even realising it.”
Another, Blessing Chihwita, praising Nigerian guest, Sunmisola’s voice as “a gift straight from heaven. When she sang ‘My Daddy My Daddy,’ the whole place was in tears. I will never forget it.”
“I came expecting good music, but what I got was a revival in my heart. The Nigerian and Zimbabwean artists blended perfectly,” Tendai Kusakara said .
Sunmisola and Ebuka Songs both expressed gratitude to Zimbabwean fans for the overwhelming reception, with Ebuka calling it “one of the most passionate worship crowds” he has ever ministered to.
