A tragic incident in Kuwadzana has led to a 58-year-old man being charged with murder after allegedly kicking a tenant to death.
Bigboy Marufu appeared before magistrate Rufaro Pavanhu at the Harare Magistrates Court facing murder charges.
He is currently under hospital remand.
The State, represented by prosecutor Mandirasa Chigumira, told the court that Marufu entered the home of one of the tenants at Number 4042, Kuwadzana 5.
It is alleged that while inside, Marufu made noise, which drew the attention of the complainant.
The complainant came out to investigate, prompting Marufu to jump through the window and attempt to flee.
The court heard that the complainant caught up with Marufu, who then allegedly kicked him in the chest.
The victim collapsed inside his home.
He was rushed to hospital, where he later died.
