
The much anticipated Chibuku Road to Fame 2025 National Finals are scheduled for Saturday, 4 October 2025, at Gwanzura Stadium, promising a day of high performances and a celebration of emerging Zimbabwean talent.
Organisers announced that this year’s event will be a milestone celebration, marking 25 years of the Chibuku Road to Fame competition.
“The Chibuku Road to Fame competitions have been running since 23 August 2000, with provincial finals held across the country. The competitions have continued to deliver thrilling performances and showcase emerging talent.
"This year marks a special milestone as the event celebrates 25 years of discovering and nurturing talent, in partnership with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe,” Delta Beverages said in a statement.

Eight provinces have already crowned their winners, with Harare and Mashonaland Central expected to complete the lineup soon. Ten groups in total will take to the stage at the National Finals, each vying for the coveted top prize.
Performances from the competing groups will be complemented by appearances from renowned guest artists, with entertainment running from 10am until late.
Among the confirmed finalists are Core Vibes from Midlands, All in One from Mashonaland West, Simunye from Matabeleland North, Dab Band from Bulawayo, Bolamba Culture Birds from Matabeleland South, Afro Pulse from Masvingo, Mnenga Band from Manicaland, and Jungle Foxes from Mashonaland East.
Most of the groups will perform Afro-fusion music, with Bolamba Culture Birds bringing traditional contemporary music and Jungle Foxes offering Sungura.
The stakes are high, with significant prizes up for grabs.
“The National Final prizes are as follows: First Prize is US$15 000 plus a recording contract, Second Prize is US$10 000, and Third Prize is US$7 000,” the organisers confirmed.
