Muzarabani Sustains Injury Ahead of ICC World Cup

 

Zimbabwe have a fitness concern in their final warm-up match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani carrying a hamstring niggle and not yet at 100 percent fitness as they face Oman.

Muzarabani picked up the injury recently and is still recovering, raising doubts  over his readiness ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026  tournament which kicks of on February 7.

The concern comes after Zimbabwe produced a confident all-round performance to defeat the Netherlands by 29 runs in their previous warm-up match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday.

 

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will begin on February 7 and run until March 8, featuring 20 teams and marking one of the most expansive editions in the competition’s history for Zimbabwe.
