A 21-year-old Kadoma man is suspected to have been murdered before being placed across the railway line where his body was crushed by a locomotive.
Takasure Samwari was placed across a railway line at the 440km peg along Machipanda-Dabuka railway.
The body was run over by a locomotive on January 20.
Samwari was also found with a deep cut on the head.
The police are appealing for information leading to the arrest of the suspects who committed the murder.
Meanwhile, police are investigating a case of murder where Trymore Nyanhi was found dead at a house along Lavernon, Bluffhill, in Westgate, Harare.
Nyanhi was found lying in a pool of blood with a deep cut on the neck.
A kitchen knife was found beside the body.
Police are also looking for a 39-year-old suspect who struck his estranged wife and younger sister with an axe at Muchemwa Village, Mamina, Mhondoro on January 19.
