Warriors Set for Historic London Debut in 2026 Unity Cup

Zimbabwe’s senior men’s national football team, the Warriors, is set for a historic milestone as they prepare to compete in the Unity Cup 2026.

This four-nation international tournament is scheduled to take place from 26 to 30 May at The Valley in London, the renowned home of Charlton Athletic FC. Featuring teams from Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Jamaica, and India, the event serves as a grand celebration of football, culture, and diaspora identity, bringing together diverse talent from across three continents.

The tournament structure pits the Warriors against Nigeria in a high-stakes opening semi-final on 26 May, followed by a clash between Jamaica and India on 27 May. Both matches are scheduled for 7:30 pm kick-offs, with the winning teams advancing to the final on 30 May. This marks the first time Zimbabwe has participated in a tournament of this scale in England, returning the Unity Cup to the venue where it was last held over two decades ago in 2004.
