The Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council today confirmed the return of June examinations while announcing the 2023 June Ordinary and Advanced Level examinations fees.
Candidates will pay the same fees as they did in 2022 with Ordinary Level students from public schools expected to pay US$11 while government will subsidise the cost by US$24.
Private candidates in public schools and private schools’ candidates will pay US$24.
Advanced Level candidates from public schools are expected to pay US$22 while private candidates in public schools will pay US$48, the same as candidates in private schools.
“Payment of June registration fees in ZWL will be done between the 8th and the 15th of March 2023 at the interbank rate prevailing as of the 8th of March 2023,” Zimsec said.
The examination council will announce the rate to be used on March 8.
Government had suspended Zimsec June Ordinary and Advanced Level Examinations in 2021 in a move which was aimed at focusing on November examinations.
