The stage is already set for the second annual homecoming show for Esigodini-born DJ Zandimaz, born Zandile Mazithulela, scheduled for Mystique Gardens in the City of Kings on Sunday.

Besides DJ Zandimaz, a star-studded line-up of artists from both South Africa and Zimbabwe will share the stage.

Some of the artistes are Mafikizolo, ExQ, Xosti, Cendric The MC, Hazel Mahazard, DJ Nospa, DJ Liz, DJ Slimza, Murphy Cubic, Michelle, Tyno, Tyniesmart, Asht and Mlungu Omnyama.

Soon after her varrival at Joshua Mqabuko International Airport last Friday, DJ Zandimaz said she was in the country to do final touch-ups on preparations for the annual show.

“So far, the preparations are going on well even though there are a bit of hiccups due to some sabotage which is a story for another day. Apart from that we are really getting there, God has been good.

“I touched down in Bulawayo today and we are hitting the ground running. The South Africa-based artists will be arriving on Sunday morning and we are going to hold a press conference when they reach Bulawayo,” said the Amapiano musician.

The lawyer-turned-musician said they will be adding a number of local artists to the line-up, adding that they are watching the weather and will pitch tents in case it rains.

One of the Roil Bulawayo Arts awards recipient’s outstanding releases remains Emathandweni, which at one point had about 1.8 million views on YouTube.
