Chitungwiza hospital bags a double at the ZIBA awards

Chitungwiza Central Hospital Public Relations Officer Ms Audrey Tasaranarwo was awarded the Top Female Executive of the year Health Services award at the Zimbabwe Business Awards held at Crown Plaza Hotel on February 24.

The award celebrates the performance of individuals of the female gender who have done well in the health sector.

“It is a great honour to receive an award for my work, especially at a time when I least expected it. I was taken by surprise when Mr Maverick phoned me informing me that I scooped the Top Female Executive of the year in Health Services,” she said.

In 2011, Ms Tasaranarwo was awarded the Anna Wyman Community Achievement award for outstanding work in helping People living with HIV and advocacy which was presented in Washington DC.

She also won the Women’s Top Business Leader of the year - special recognition in PR and community development excellence - in 2017 and scooped the Public Relations Manager of the year award in 2019.

Meanwhile, Chitungwiza Central Hospital also won the Hospital of the year award.

The Zimbabwe Business Awards are a celebration of excellence, inspiration and success that symbolise and celebrate Zimbabwean businessmen and women from across the board.

ZIBA distinguishes and honours business leaders who have contributed and shaped the Zimbabwean economy, and visionaries behind outstanding businesses and organisations.
