Zimbabwe is set to welcome the first Eswatini Air flight after the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe granted them Foreign Operator Permits to fly to the region.

Eswatini Air and Zambia Airways are the latest airlines to be granted FOPs to and from Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport.

The Royal Eswatini National Airways Corporation is expected to arrive at the RGMI Airport tomorrow afternoon.

The FOPs will allow the airlines to commence scheduled passenger and cargo flights.

On April 14, 2023, flights to Harare International, Zimbabwe, will take off with four weekly frequencies - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The country continues to welcome new airlines and expand its network in line with its “open skies policy”.
