A 39-year-old woman, Portia Gowero, had a 30kg tumour removed from her tummy following a two-hour long surgery at Mpilo Central Hospital on Wednesday.
The mother of seven had visited Mutare Provincial Hospital and Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare but could not get her problem resolved.
The tumour had reportedly been growing since 2021 and when she went to Mpilo, she suspected that she was carrying her eight baby.
Gowero is still admitted and recovering at Mpilo Central Hospital.
