Bopela faces arrest over school fees arrears

Businessman Agrippa Bopela Masiyakurima has been arraigned before the Harare Civil Courts on allegations of failure to pay school fees for his three children.

The complainant in the matter is Abigail Marongwe, 43, residing at number 3 Drew road, Chisipite, Harare and is employed at CBZ as a credit manager.

The State, through prosecutor Kudzanayi Mudzamiri, told the court that on February 28, 2023, at Harare Civil Court, Masiyakurima was ordered to pay fees directly to the school for three minor children one with 12, 9 and the one with, 7 respectively. However, Masiyakurima failed to pay the first term 2023 school fees as required and is in default of US$8 053.

A warrant of arrest was issued in his name.
