Chagonda, who was speaking on the sidelines of the Chibuku Super Cup draw, declared that his club has invested a lot which will put them as the front runners in this prestigious tournament which will kick start this month.
“If it was not about the rules of the draw, we wanted Highlanders, we still have unfinished business with the current log leaders. We have invested a lot in our club and we have what it takes for us to win this tournament,” Chagonda declared.
Manica Diamonds lost narrowly to Highlanders a fortnight ago at Emagumeni.
Chagonda also saluted his boys for the resilience they have shown in the race to win the league championship.

Mupfurutsa is now Simba Bhora chairperson and they will be facing each other in the Chibuku Super Cup.
