BUSE basketball team raises Zim flag high in Russia

Bindura State University Basketball team has raised the Zimbabwean flag high at the Akat 2023 University International Sports Festival in Russia after they defeated Matanzas University of Argentina.

BUSE Panthers qualified among the 36 countries participating at the University International Sports Festival 2023 which are being held in Ekaterinburg.

Permanent Secretary for Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Nick Mangwana confirmed this on his X wall.

“… Bindura University Basketball Team - BUSE Panthers - defeated Matanzas University of Argentina 21:14 at the Ekat 2023 University International Sports Festival in Russia in a Pool A 3x3 men’s basketball match.

“The Panthers will face Russia’s Moscow State Academy of Physical Education tomorrow,” Mangwana wrote.
