Citizens Coalition for Change has elected Ian Makone as the new mayor for Harare.
He takes over from Jacob Mafume after elections conducted at Town House today.
Makone will be deputised by councillor Kudzai Kadzombe.
His election follows a majority win for the opposition outfit which won majority seats in Harare during the August 23 Local Authority polls.
