An ex-lover who could not take no for an answer has appeared in court after assaulting his former woman.
Tinashe Muvimi, 21, of Chitungwiza, appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Courts charged with assault.
The State alleges that on October 12, around 1600 hours, the complainant was at Cameroon Flyover going to Mukuvisi River to wash her body and met Muvimi, her ex-boyfriend who asked for the two to get back together.
She allegedly turned down the proposal and Muvimi called his friend, only identified as Stallion and started assaulting her.
It is alleged that he head-butted the complainant on the eye and Stallion kicked her in the upper abdomen and she fell down and became unconscious.
The two took the complainant’s shoes and threw them into a ditch.
The complainant was helped by passers-by who rushed her to Parirenyatwa Hospital where she is still admitted.
Muvimi was ordered to appear in court tomorrow for bail application.
