Owen Muteeri, 28, of Makoma Extension, Epworth, appeared before magistrate Donald Ndirowei at the Harare Magistrates’ Courts accused of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

They then went on to remove burglar bars from the reception office and entered.
They broke the accountant’s office, director’s office and ransacked them.
It is alleged that Muteeri and his accomplices went on to break into another workshop where they stole a CCTV DVR.
They also stole a Samsung M33 cell phone belonging to one of the security guards before going to the next yard where Muteeri is a security guard.
They allegedly stole US$238 000 after using grinders to open the safe. Muteeri was given US$5 000 as his share.
