Two men, Madimbu Taurai, 30, and Mashiri Tafadzwa, 30, appeared at Harare Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with attempted murder following an alleged assault at the Fox Night Club on February 5.
The court heard that the complainant, Kundiso Mhungu, 26, was allegedly struck with metal stools by the accused after attempting to intervene in a dispute involving his friend. The prosecution alleges that Mhungu sustained head injuries, lost two teeth, and suffered facial swelling as a result of the assault.
Taurai and Tafadzwa were granted bail of US$100 each and are scheduled to appear in court again on March 13 for routine remand.
