The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation announced the suspension of its Chief Executive Officer, Adelaide Chikunguru, with immediate effect.
The Board of Directors made the decision, and the reasons for the suspension have been confidentially communicated to Chikunguru but will not be made public at this time.
Ashael Machakata, the Corporation’s Finance Director, will assume the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer during Chikunguru’s absence.
The ZBC did not disclose the expected duration of Chikunguru’s suspension or provide any further details regarding the reasons behind it.
