Three Bindura-based Central Intelligence Organisation operatives who were arrested for allegedly kidnapping and demanding sex from a local woman, were yesterday granted US$300 bail each.
The three Aynos Charumbira, 32, Jeffrey Makonza, 29, and Takudzwa Mwale, 30, appeared before a Bindura magistrate who heard that the three allegedly kidnapped Caroline Panashe Nyemba in the early hours of March 9, when the victim was returning from a local night club.
Nyemba is reported to have been taken to their offices where she was bashed and left for dead.
Nyemba’s boyfriend, Tony Mutimbanyoka was also severely attacked, resulting in his hospitalisation.
