Mufakose-based dance group, Culture Warriors, emerged victorious at the Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Dance Festival's Harare provincial finals this weekend.
The competition, held under the theme "Tamba Tione, Gida Sibone!" (Dance Together, Build the Nation!), saw Culture Warriors' energetic Dinhe dance performance impress the judges.
Their win grants them $2,500 and a chance to compete against champions from other provinces at the national finals on July 27th.
Shingai Dance Troupe (Mufakose) and Villa Kutinya Angoni (Dzivaresekwa) secured second and third place respectively.
