Forget your average 55-year-old! Elizabeth Majongwe is a whirlwind of energy, a ray of sunshine who bursts onto the Zimbabwean entertainment scene like a firecracker.

This powerhouse from Rusape isn't letting age dictate her rhythm – she's here to prove that life's a stage, and she's ready to belt out a showstopping performance!

Liz's love affair with the spotlight began way back when School plays were her playground, traditional dance clubs her disco, and impromptu song-writing sessions with her brother were her rock concerts.

Let's just say, she wasn't shy about expressing herself, even if she admits to being a "tad talkative" in class. But hey, that extra dose of effervescence is what makes Liz, Liz!

Life threw her some curveballs, like venturing into electrical supplies and clothing stores, and then facing the heartbreak of widowhood in 2011. But Liz is a fighter. Through it all, the embers of her artistic spirit never flickered. Enter Lazarus Wechishona, a knight in shining armor (well, maybe theatrical armor) who led her to the legendary Bridget Paradza in 2017. And that, my friends, is where the magic truly began!

Liz doesn't collect dust on the acting shelf. From the fierce yet maternal Mai Madora in "Pedyo Kure" (who knew you could be both strong and nurturing at the same time?), to portraying the harrowing struggles of a human trafficking victim in "Boundaries Within," she dives into each role with the enthusiasm of a kid discovering a forgotten candy stash. Acting? More like inhabiting the character's soul!

But Liz is a multi-faceted gem. Remember those "talkative" tendencies from school? They came in handy during her foray into politics in 2018. The experience not only gave her a voice but also honed her public persona – a skill that comes in handy when you're captivating audiences and turning heads.

And who says beauty pageants are just for the young and skinny? Liz, a glorious example of defying expectations, strutted her stuff at the plus-size pageant at the ripe young age of 48, making it all the way to the top six! Not only that, but in 2022, she became the head judge of the Goddess of Beauty Pageant, proving that true beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and life experiences.

Speaking of life experiences, Liz's journey from starring in "Estate Blues" to becoming its executive producer is a mic drop moment worthy of a standing ovation! This woman doesn't just act, she conquers!

Need a break from the hustle and bustle? Look no further than Liz on a weekend. Whether she's conquering the waves with a swimming stroke that would make a mermaid jealous, throwing punches like a champ in a boxing ring, or hitting the open road with friends for adventures in the Eastern Highlands or Kariba, her zest for life is infectious! But at the heart of it all, family is her rock, her unwavering support system through thick and thin.

Inspired by icons like Whoopi Goldberg (we see the fierce independence!) and Tina Turner (that unstoppable energy!), Liz brings a vibrant energy to every character she embodies. From the side-splitting antics of Gweshegweshe sister  in the current sitcom to the chilling portrayal of a mentally challenged woman in "Gamuchirai," she transforms with the chameleon-like ability of a seasoned actress, leaving audiences both mesmerized and questioning her sanity (in the best way possible, of course!).

Liz's message to young people is a beacon of hope: embrace your true self, fight against exploitation, chase your wildest dreams, and never let that inner fire dim. After all, as she proclaims with a twinkle in her eye, "being 55 now, I still feel my youthful energy and I like doing youthful stuff!
