Zimbabwean model and entrepreneur Hillary Makaya exchanged vows with prominent businessman Andrew Manongere in a US$40,000 ceremony on Saturday. The extravagant wedding has been the talk of social media, with Makaya sharing glimpses of the luxurious event.

Makaya, known for flaunting her glamorous lifestyle online, documented her traditional marriage festivities through a series of videos. In one clip, she excitedly exclaims, "they have suffered," hinting at the couple's journey to wedded bliss.

Her social media posts showcased her commitment to a picture-perfect wedding. A team of stylists from Nigeria was flown in to handle her hair and makeup, while her traditional wedding attire was specially imported, adding an extra touch of elegance to the occasion.

This marks Manongere's second marriage, with rumors swirling about his previous relationship with Joanna Mombe. Manongere has also been associated with claims of familial ties to Zimbabwe's President Mnangagwa.

Makaya's own romantic history has been a source of public interest. She has been linked to several prominent figures in Zimbabwe's business world. Past relationships include an affair with Robert Mugabe Jr., son of the former president, and rumored involvement with self-styled prophet Passion Java. Social media buzz even suggested a rivalry with socialite Enhle Mthuli following a public outing together.

In 2023, Makaya's engagement to Shepherd Bushiri's former brother-in-law, Tanah Israel, garnered significant attention. Photos showed her integrating into Israel's church community, further fueling speculation.

The couple's split, however, led to a new chapter in Makaya's life. She began using the cryptic "Mrs. M" on social media, while flaunting expensive gifts and luxury cars, hinting at a new romance.

The identity of "Mr. M" has now been revealed as Andrew Manongere.
