Police have recovered firearms and over 1000 rounds of ammunition from the home of Raymond Mugabe who died after a shootout.

This came out when Mugabe’s accomplices Kenneth Chiputura, 50, and Jaison Munyapa, 18, and Mike Chitsiko- appeared in Harare court charged with two counts of robbery.
The trio- working with Mugabe and other acccomplices identified as Blessing and Mavhunga- is accused of committing robberies in Harare.
The gang allegedly used armed pistols and iron bars in their crime commission.
In the first count on May 31, the gang allegedly broke into a house, assaulted the occupant, and stole US$15,000, firearms, ammunition, and various items. They also stole a truck, which they later abandoned.
On July 23, the suspects allegedly robbed another house, stealing cash, wine, and a briefcase.
They were found with over 1,000 rounds of ammunition. They are set to return to court on August 28.
