Dynamos interim coach Lloyd Chingowe popularly known as Mablanyo has admitted to the immense pressure that comes with the role, likening it to the responsibilities of a head of state. With the Glamour Boys facing a crucial match against Simba Bhora this Saturday, Chingowe is determined to steer the ship steady.
"The pressure is immense, just like the executive head of the state," Chingowe revealed. "It's a huge responsibility, but the boys have responded well to my guidance. We are ready for Saturday."
Chingowe sought to dispel any concerns about the departure of former coach Genesis Mangombe, assuring fans that the transition would be seamless. "There is an element of continuity," he said, emphasising that the team's performance on the pitch would not be affected.
The interim coach has also called for unity and positivity within the squad, urging players to avoid negative publicity. "We need to stick together as a team," Chingowe stressed. "A positive mindset is crucial for our success."
With the league title looking increasingly out of reach, Chingowe has shifted focus to the Confederation Cup. "We have to pour our hearts into this competition," he said. "We want to make history for the club."
The pressure is undoubtedly on Chingowe as he seeks to guide Dynamos through this challenging period. The performance of the team in the coming weeks will be crucial in determining his fate as interim coach.
