Wife Stabs husband for returning home late

A woman from Chitungwiza, Beauty Mabobo (30), is wanted by police after allegedly stabbing her husband, Passmore Matsiga (29), for returning home late on Friday.

The incident occurred after Mabobo became suspicious of her husband's messy appearance and questioned him about his whereabouts. When Matsiga failed to provide a satisfactory explanation, Mabobo became enraged and attacked him with a knife.

Matsiga was treated for his injuries at Chitungwiza Hospital and later released. Mabobo, meanwhile, fled to her parents' home in a nearby village.

Despite the incident, Matsiga has forgiven his wife and expressed his desire to reconcile. "I'm getting better, and I'm going to the hospital again soon to get seven stitches out," he stated. "I think a demonic force was trying to ruin my twelve-year marriage and my three-child household."

Matsiga acknowledged that he had made a mistake by staying out late and consuming excessive alcohol. He explained that he had spent the night at a girlfriend's house to give the impression of having been at a nightclub.

Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the case and urged the public to provide any information that could lead to Mabobo's arrest. "We are investigating an attempted murder case in Chitungwiza involving a domestic dispute," said Insp Chakanza.
