A Kuwadzana man, 40, has appeared in court on charges of raping his 13-year-old daughter on multiple occasions.
The alleged assaults occurred in August when the complainant and her brother were sent to the father's place to collect new clothes. While the brother was sent to buy groceries, the father is said to have sexually assaulted the complainant.
The alleged abuse continued on multiple occasions, both at the father's home and in public places. The complainant eventually reported the incidents to her mother, who then took her to the police to file a case.
The man has denied the allegations and is scheduled to appear in court again on September 13.
