A 56-year-old man who allegedly who was in love with a 13-year-old juvenile and was caught by the mother in the act has been taken to court.
Pedzisai Ngosana, 56, of Domboshava, appeared at the Harare Magistrate's Courts charged with rape.
In August, Ngosana reportedly proposed love to the complainant and she agreed to his proposal.
The two visited each other several times as lovers.
It is alleged that from August up to September this year at Dembetembe, the two had consensual sexual intercourse together once.
The court was informed that the matter came to light when complainant's mother caught the complainant and Ngosana in her house, the complainant's skirt dropped to knee level.
Ngosana allegedly ran away leaving the complainant with her mother.
She was asked by her nother and revealed the whole story to her mother.
The matter was reported to the police leading to Ngosana's arrest.
He was remanded in custody.
