The International Cricket Council  has initiated a full-scale investigation into alleged suspicious activities that occurred during the recently concluded Zim Afro T10 League 2024. The focus of the probe is on a match between the Durban Wolves and the Harare Bolts, where concerns have been raised about potential wrongdoing.

The ICC's Anti-Corruption Unit is examining specific overs in the match that were marked by an unusually high number of extras, including wides and no-balls. These irregularities have prompted officials to question players and officials involved in the tournament.

One of the most notable incidents occurred during the sixth over, bowled by Kashif Daud of the Durban Wolves. Daud's over included seven wides and two no-balls, resulting in a total of 20 runs conceded in 14 deliveries. This erratic performance raised suspicions among cricket officials.

Dawlat Zadran of Afghanistan also came under scrutiny for his ninth over, which yielded 23 runs, including eight wides. Additionally, Yasir Shah's over, where he conceded 30 runs, has been identified as a point of interest for the investigation.

Pakistani journalist Saleem Khaliq reported on social media that several Pakistani players and officials were questioned by the ICC's Anti-Corruption Unit. He also mentioned that a mobile phone was confiscated as part of the investigation.
