The Zimbabwe Football Association is considering hosting the Warriors' make-or-break Group J Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa.

While the initial plan was to return to Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, coach Michael Nees is said to prefer Polokwane's stadium due to its superior playing surface. The Warriors have previously played against Namibia at Orlando Stadium and have attracted good crowds, boosting their morale.

ZIFA is exploring Orlando Stadium as a backup option if they cannot secure Peter Mokaba Stadium. The Warriors have scheduled their home match against Kenya for Friday, November 15 at 6 PM.

Cameroon, already qualified for the AFCON finals, has yet to announce the stadium and date for their match against Zimbabwe.

A draw against Kenya will secure Zimbabwe's place in the finals. The Warriors have been impressive defensively, conceding only two goals in the group stage. However, they face a formidable challenge against a Kenyan side that is desperate for a win.

Both Zimbabwe and Kenya have been forced to play their home matches in neighboring countries due to the lack of certified stadiums within their own borders. The Warriors have been using Uganda's Mandela Stadium, while Kenya has also been playing their home games in Uganda.

The upcoming match against Kenya will be a crucial test for the Warriors as they strive to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations finals.
