Scottland president Pedzai “Scott” Sakupwanya has upped the ante in the club's quest for promotion to the Premier Soccer League (PSL). The ambitious owner has dangled a lucrative US$10,000 reward for each player if the team secures the Northern Region Division One title.

Currently sitting in second place on the log, just a point behind leaders Mwos, Scottland have three matches remaining in the season.

To motivate his players further, Sakupwanya recently rewarded the team with a US$1,500 bonus after their 5-1 victory over DZ Royals. However, he has set a higher bar for future matches.

"There is a US$200 bonus for every goal scored, but only if we score at least five goals in a match," Sakupwanya explained. "So, for the upcoming match against Harare City, let's aim for a 6-0 victory to secure the bonus."

The club owner's ambitious plans for Scottland extend beyond the current season. He has revealed that a significant investment will be made in the team if they secure promotion to the PSL.

"If we win the NRSL title, there's a US$10,000 bonus for every player," Sakupwanya confirmed. "This is a clear indication of our commitment to the club and our desire to compete at the highest level."

With the stakes high and the rewards enticing, Scottland's players are undoubtedly motivated to give their all in the remaining matches.
