Transvaal Africa Airlines is set to launch flights by the end of this year after securing an air service permit.
Speaking to an aviation publication CEO Patson Moyo said the company is working to finalise certification so that they can launch passenger and cargo flights using three leased Boeing aircraft.
They expect to be airborne in the last quarter of the year with plans to service the Harare- London route and developing a cargo hub at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport.
Interest in the Harare route has been raised by several players with Fly Phoenix Direct Limited planning to launch direct charter flights while Airbus has indicated that this is one of the most viable unserviced routes in Africa.
