Allegations of Flight Log Irregularities Plague Executive Air

Executive Air, a prominent player in Zimbabwe's aviation sector, is embroiled in controversy surrounding its alleged failure to maintain accurate flight logs.

Sources close to the matter claim that the company has been deliberately omitting crucial details from its flight records, including flight paths, cargo manifests, passenger information, and crew details.

These alleged omissions raise serious concerns about Executive Air's compliance with aviation standards set by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe.

A confidential source revealed that the company is exploiting lax oversight by the CAAZ to circumvent proper flight logging procedures.

"Executive Air is taking advantage of the relaxed enforcement to evade taxes. This is a deliberate attempt to cheat the system, not just a matter of non-compliance," the source alleged.

Ed Mordat, a key figure linked to the controversy, has denied allegations of irregular practices within Executive Air. However, the company has yet to issue an official statement addressing the growing concerns. Despite attempts to contact its representatives, no comment has been forthcoming.

The alleged irregularities have caught the attention of aviation authorities, who are reportedly launching investigations to uncover the full extent of the violations. An aviation consultant, who wished to remain anonymous, emphasized the importance of strict compliance in the industry.
