This multi-talented dynamo has navigated the realms of music, football, and boxing with effortless ease, leaving an indelible mark on each discipline.
Recently, Zim Now Sports had the privilege of sitting down with the enigmatic Magitare, who regaled us with tales of his eventful past. As the lead guitarist for the legendary Thomas Mapfumo, Magitare's fingers danced across the fretboard, weaving a sonic tapestry that captivated audiences nationwide.
"I would play the guitar like never before," Magitare chuckled, his eyes twinkling with nostalgia. "Those were incredible times, and I feel blessed to have shared the stage with such a musical icon."
But Magitare's talents didn't stop at music. As a former footballer, he donned the jerseys of both the Rhodesian national team and Dynamos FC of Salisbury, showcasing his prowess on the pitch. And, in a surprising revelation, Magitare also confessed to being a skilled boxer.
Today, as the Dynamos Board Chairman, Magitare brings his unique blend of passion, creativity, and competitive spirit to the world of football administration.
