DeMbare to celebrate 60 years of existence

Fading Giants Dynamos FC are next year set to celebrate a remarkable achievement of reaching 60 years since the club’s formation.

Formed in 1963, the Harare giants, who have more than 20 premier league titles among other silverware, are set to come up with a programme to celebrate their team.

Dynamos spokesperson Tinashe Farawo told ZimNow that the club is currently planning some big things for the celebrations.

“We will announce in due course but we are planning something big as a club, exciting times are ahead of us,” Farawo told Zim Now.

DeMbare are trying to make some amends after they failed to celebrate their silver jubilee.

Meanwhile, the club is yet to announce the new technical team after deciding not to renewed Tonderai Ndiraya’s contract, which expires on 31 December.

The club is also expected to be on the negotiating table with several players, who have their contracts expiring at the end of this year, including soccer star of the year finalist Frank Makarati.
