Vice President Colonel (Rtd) K.C.D. Mohadi yesterday (Friday) received a courtesy call from the Board of the Radiation Protection Authority of Zimbabwe in his capacity as the Authority’s Patron.
The Board briefed the Vice President on ongoing efforts to safeguard the public and environment from the harmful effects of radiation, including strengthening regulatory frameworks and emergency preparedness.
Discussions also focused on enhancing collaboration with the government and stakeholders across sectors such as health, mining, and industry, where radiation use is critical.
RPAZ reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining international safety standards while aligning with national development goals under Vision 2030.
