SOGO Rangers secured a convincing eight-wicket win over Rimuka Cricket Club in a thrilling National Premier League Match Day Two encounter at Old Hararians Sports Club this Wednesday. Tadiwanashe Marumani and Jarod Basson were the heroes for SOGO Rangers, putting on a crucial 100-run partnership that powered their team to victory.

Rimuka had won the toss and elected to bat, posting a strong start with 53 runs without losing a wicket in the power play. However, the Midlands-based side eventually managed 254/8 in their allotted 45 overs. Rangers chased down the target with ease, thanks to Marumani and Basson's partnership, and had five overs to spare.

The win highlights Rangers' strong form in the league, and they will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches. In other matches played on the same day, Alex Cricket Club beat Westside by seven wickets, Amakhosi 1 overcame Takashinga 2 by 21 runs, Takashinga 1 walloped Chiredzi by 192 runs, and Eastern Titans beat Gladiators by 16 runs.
