A Shamva woman stands accused of causing the death of a 4 month old infant when she pushed the mother against the wall.
According to the police, Mai Shumai Kanyoka assaulted Prisca Dhirau, 23 on December 9, at Logan Shopping Centre, Shamva.
Mai Shumai had accused Dhirau of having an affair with her (Mai Shumai’s) husband.
Dhirau had her baby strapped on her back.
During the assault, Mai Shumai shoved Dhirau against the wall and the baby was injured and died
Police said that investigations are in progress.
