Seed Co Limited has projected stronger performance in the coming year, buoyed by improved rainfall patterns and strategic measures aimed at enhancing resilience in the agricultural sector.

In its latest trading update, the seed producer highlighted that the rebound in agricultural activity is creating opportunities to expand market share, while government efforts to boost food security are aligning with the company’s strategic priorities.

The company noted that it is focusing on climate-resilient seed varieties and improved inventory management to mitigate risks posed by weather variability and supply chain challenges.

“By emphasising climate-resilient varieties and adopting strategic inventory management, the business is well-positioned to capitalise on the agricultural sector’s rebound while supporting national food security goals,” group secretary said in a statement dated July 31, 2025.

Seed Co has also been investing in research and development to introduce high-yielding seed varieties, aiming to meet growing farmer demand across the region.

The company expects that these innovations, coupled with operational efficiencies, will underpin growth and shareholder value in the upcoming financial year.
