Ecobank Zimbabwe has launched a nationwide choral competition, Vault of Voices, as part of the Ecobank Group’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
The contest offers a total of US$50 000 in prizes to winning groups.
The bank is inviting choirs and gospel ensembles with between 8 and 15 members to submit three-minute performance videos via WhatsApp.
Submissions open on September 12, 2025 and close on October 5, 2025.

According to Ecobank, the competition is designed to showcase Zimbabwe’s rich choral tradition while creating career opportunities for emerging gospel and choir groups.
“This is your chance to shine. We are calling all choirs and gospel groups, young or old — if you can lift hearts with music, we want to hear you sing,” the bank said.
Prizes include a cash-loaded Ecobank card, professional mentorship, a recording contract for a single and music video, and an opportunity to feature on the Vault of Voices TV show.
The initiative is part of Ecobank’s efforts to connect with communities through creative platforms while commemorating four decades of operations across Africa.
