Zimbabwean artist Mwendamberi is set to represent the country on one of the continent’s biggest music stages this October, as Tshwane prepares to host the 2025 Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES).
The prestigious pan-African music trade event, taking place from 30 October to 1 November, will bring together over 1 000 delegates, industry leaders, and creatives from more than 45 countries. For the first time, ACCES Africa’s leading music industry gathering will be staged in Tshwane, South Africa’s administrative capital.
Mwendamberi, known for blending traditional Zimbabwean sounds with modern Afro-fusion, will join more than 80 musicians performing at the two-day Showcase Festival in the heart of Tshwane. Sharing the line-up with African stars such as Focalistic, Mörda, Zoë Modiga, Bokani Dyer, and Kekelingo, Mwendamberi will perform before an international audience of producers, label executives, festival curators, and media representatives.
