The Zimbabwe Women’s Premier Soccer League has officially confirmed the expulsion of Maningi YSA, marking the end of the club’s participation in the country’s top-flight women’s league.
The announcement, made on October 15, 2025, follows weeks of consultations involving the club, league stakeholders, and member teams.
According to a statement from the ZWPSL, Maningi YSA voluntarily resigned from the league, prompting the Executive Board to invoke Articles 16 and 69 of the league’s constitution to formalize the exit.
These statutes govern club resignations and empower the board to make decisions in exceptional cases.
