Raza Backs Zimbabwe to Carry Test Form Into T20 Clash With Afghanistan

 

The battle continues at Harare Sports Club this afternoon as Zimbabwe and Afghanistan lock horns in the opening match of a highly anticipated three-match T20 International series. The clash comes hot on the heels of Zimbabwe’s historic triumph in the one-off Test last week, where the hosts crushed Afghanistan by an innings and 73 runs and their first home Test win in 12 years.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza expressed confidence ahead of the T20 series, highlighting the team’s growing unity and balance. “One of those two games we won in the last series, we have a good combination now, the team is almost settled and the majority knows his roles,” Raza said.
