A tragic road accident claimed the life of a cyclist on Wednesday evening, December 3, just 100 meters after the Trabablas interchange along Glenorah-Chitungwiza road
According to eyewitnesses, the deceased was cycling home from work at around 8 p.m. when he was struck by a kombi. Witnesses reported that the man was wearing headphones at the time of the incident, which may have affected his awareness of the oncoming vehicle.
Emergency medical services were called to the scene and arrived shortly after the crash, but the cyclist had already succumbed to his injuries. Paramedics were unable to resuscitate him.
