A violent crime spree that terrorised the town of Beatrice on the night of March 6, 2026, has resulted in a 50-year prison sentence for two young men convicted of a series of robberies, thefts and violent attacks on residents and business owners.

Conrade Moyo (22) and Milford Sudhakwa (23) were found guilty of multiple counts of unlawful entry, robbery and theft by the Beatrice Magistrates’ Court.

The pair, together with an accomplice who is still on the run, allegedly carried out a coordinated series of attacks targeting homes and business premises in the area.

Armed with machetes, an axe, a knife and a bolt cutter, the trio forced their way into several properties, including Tavistock Farm, where they attacked and stabbed bar owner Brian Masiwo on the left shoulder.
