Mwaruwari's Highlanders Under Fire: Can the Undertaker Turn the Tide

Highlanders FC head coach Benjani Mwaruwari is facing a daunting task as he struggles to gel with his new team, with the Bosso supporters growing increasingly restless.

The former Manchester City striker's appointment was shrouded in controversy, with allegations that Wicknell Chivayo had influenced the decision, threatening to withdraw sponsorship if Mwaruwari wasn't given the job. The Bosso executive had initially appointed South African Thabo Senong, but later reversed the decision in favour of Mwaruwari.

Mwaruwari's start to the season has been underwilling, with just four points from a possible 12 in his first four league games. His strikeforce has managed just three goals, leaving fans and critics alike wondering if the Undertaker has lost his touch.

"The PSL demons have castrated his peace, denying him maximum points even when it appeared possible," says Thandazani Ndlovu, a Highlanders FC supporter. "The bad spirits that once tormented him during his era at Ngezi Platinum Stars might just have repossessed him." said Nkululeko  Ndlovu a staunch  Highlanders fan

Mwaruwari has cited combination build-up as a major concern, saying it requires the most attention. His loyal camp is calling for patience, arguing that the league has only covered a small fraction of the entire marathon. However, the ever-demanding supporters are running out of patience.

"It's heartbreaking to see our rivals doing well while we're struggling to find answers," says Sizwe Khumalo, a Highlanders FC fan. "What's the plan, Mwaruwari?"

As Mwaruwari's struggles continue, questions are being raised about the project the Bosso executive intends to build around him.
